Today I participated on panel of educational innovators for the Project IGNITE (Identify, Gather, & Nurture Innovative Transformative Educators) workshop. Four panelists: Lucy Gray, Anthony DiLaura, Kyle Brumbaugh and I attended the workshop via Google Hangouts.  My topic: Gaming in Education.

I liked Jane's video. It is an intriguing argument. I would be interested in seeing her games that put out problems with potential for real world solutions.

The other video that was sort of an interview of WOW players in-world, hit me in two ways. There were really convincing arguments for the use of WOW in the classroom and it left me wondering how it actually gets implemented. I would have to learn much more about WOW or other worlds to see how to make it a tool for the classroom. This is all so new to me, I have so much to learn.
